Coyote Kid scores one for all

Bryce National Park

My heart is singing today, as a prayer has been answered.¬† Mother Earth’s children are stepping up to protect and honor her!

When the Red Rocks and Canyon lands of UT were put up for Oil and Gas leases at the end of December, by the current administration who tried to pull a coyote move in order to drill on our pristine lands just before they left office, I sent out a prayer of release and protection.

Rather than going into fight or flight, or ‘I need to fix it’ mode, there was simply a feeling of Gratitude that everything is in order, and justice will prevail. I had a thought cross that someone will show up to make sure these lands are transferred into wise hands.

Family — one brave young man stepped up and threw a monkey wrench into the whole thing by bidding 1.8 million dollars on 22,000 acres he never intended to drill, nor pay for, but was clearly stewarding.

This is a beautiful example of an Earth Keeper … and one who used his own Coyote medicine for great benefit!!!

Now the 30 days required to create a new auction will come after Obama takes office, and while there will be much wrangling and blame, the lands will not be drilled anytime soon, if ever.

What a beautiful thing to witness … our young folks taking non-violent action, our lands being protected, and our prayers answered through the power of our Faith and commitment to Love!

Ukehi! I AM great~full!
